Status Updates From Biography of X

I don’t like how Catherine Lacey is dodging on some of her art commentary through these characters. But I can’t argue with “Is it possible that the best thing to happen in your life could also be the worst?” followed by “No . . . she didn’t say that. /I/ said that. That was how /I/ felt” !!

i’ve never started a reread of a book so fast after finishing it but i’m itching to annotate this one

I wasn't at all sure I was gonna like this and then whoops I'd read 50 pages. Unlikeable characters is usually a tough sell for me (sorry, I'm basic), but an interesting mystery + alternate history are very strong draws it turns out!
