(1) I feel like I'd have appreciated this more if I was familiar with these characters and their powers.
- Other than Kilowog and Harbinger I had to learn everything on the fly.
(2) It's strange seeing unabashed stereotyping through modern eyes.
- I'm not offended in the least, it's just an eye-opener.
(3) I like that the AIDS subplot actually played into the ending.
