Actually, Case didn't want to find Riviera; he only wanted a drink and to contemplate Wintermute, Molly, etc. Cathy appeared out of nowhere wearing a black shift. She tempted Case to go to her room behind Paradise. While being high with a derm on his inner wrist, he went to her place and fucked.

I am now getting the hang of Gibson's description of technology, but just as I began to grasp it, it all went back to the real world now in the pages I am currently, I do wonder whether whoever that is adapting this novel will pay more heed to the descriptions of sections in the story which are mostly difficult to put to screen(each interpretation would be interesting). But, let's see what holds up
