Typical Kirsten and that is a very good thing.

First third is introducing the main characters, the plot and motivations with a slow building intensity. Elements that are very important for the entire story to be enjoyable but it is definitely not handled in a dry and boring manner.

There's early action that is not out of place and serves the story well.
