Status Updates From Hero Worship

Our Hero, Hercules, answers his phone and ends up talking to all Ancient Greek gods. Everyone is named Poseidon, Zeus, Hades, Ares, Artemis, Apollo… it’s annoying, exaggerated and cringe.

Got weird and confusing after awhile. But it didnt matter because i loved the whole series. Lol

Starting this book is like being dropped into a fever dream or starting a movie halfway through. Unfortunately I feel zero connection to the (very strange) characters who clearly have a backstory and complicated relationship I'm not privy to. This should not be labeled as a standalone.

It's difficult to read. I feel like I started from the middle part of the book.

Holy hotness

Oh my gosh, this book is related to the books that Amelia has written about Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. I should have known! Daisy is Hades' daughter and she has the same infliction that he does—sensitivity to light. It's very interesting and different. We also meet Hercules and his relationship with Daisy is quite complicated. It's obvious that they both feel something for each other but haven't acknowledged it yet.
