Status Updates From A Yellow Raft in Blue Water

Rayona has her baby. His name is Lee, after LeCon, her father.

Ida punishes Clara who escaped her responsibility for Christine, her daughter.

Clara seems to have foisted the baby off on to her sister. The baby's father seems to be Clara's dad.

Aunt ida is a central character. The author seems to be changing narrators on me. I'd been thinking it was a man, but maybe not. It's annoying. The first line of the next chapter, however, is revealing. "Dayton and I settled into the routine of an old married couple..."

Foxy, Pauline's son, gives her a ride to Dayton's house. Dayton is her brother.

I'm getting these characters mixed up but it seems like the mother (Christine?) has only six months to live.
