The series is enjoyable but for me, not enough plot to balance out the steamy parts. The author sometimes switches between 1st person and 3rd person writing, which isn’t too distracting. But also sometimes forgets details - e.g. he tells her he doesn’t have family then she later wonders if he has any family. I found this series after reading the Clecanian series and find this one lacking in comparison.
