Found a way to calculate my progress despite having started The Book first - it's 70% to the end, which makes it the last 30% of the book. I've now read the first 35%, so added together, I've read 65% of the whole.

Ironic that I'm having to do math for this tbh.

Not sure exactly how far along I am as this book comes in two parts: The Story and The Book. It's up to the reader which one to start with, and I started with The Book, which comes second. So let's just say I'm halfway done - I finished The Book. Now time for The Story.

"Ancient wisdom says the whole is more than the sum of its parts. But if that is the case, how do we account for the difference? What is a flock without birds?" -Filip Dousek

¨And that´s the end of the story. What continues is life. Because life always goes on. And it turns what had seemed like an entire story into an episode. And what looked like the perfect present into one of many parallel timelines.¨ -Filip Dousek

"A wholehearted attempt to tear oneself out of the human condition and free oneself from freedom. A leap above the abyss of futility that, however, it turns out, whether it flays skin or breaks limbs, will remain the most graceful and noble rising of the mind. An inhuman act, and in that, paradoxically, the most human of acts. A leap into the Sun: the decision to fail beautifully and magnificently." -Filip Dousek
