I’m already on chapter five, but the author still hasn’t defined what she means by “beauty sickness.” She makes a strong point that beauty can be a form of power that open doors to a better life. If that’s true, isn’t it reasonable for women to put effort into their appearance? It’s like saying people shouldn’t care about money😄 you should care, just not obsess over it.
