I am close to finishing this book, nonetheless, I am having trouble looking past salient problems in the writing style, or, for the lack of a better word(s), char development, and also the progression.

I still cant believe that a simple issue that could've been talked out led them not talking with each other and both of them sprinting off of the camp, while a huge carrier effecting change is made in seconds.
