I’ve been looking for a non-ebook copy of this novel for two years, ever since I read a review in a Guardian roundup of recent Australian fiction. I was about to buy it from Book Depository (RIP) when Amazon bought the place and shut it down, bastards. Then the other day the audio showed up on Kobo, where I have a subscription, and I grabbed it. It’s promising so far.
