"Chłopiec z delfinem" to najbardziej poruszające opowiadanie jakie kiedykolwiek przeczytałam i zdecydowanie najlepsze z tego zbioru (przynajmniej na ten moment). Warto sięgnąć po tę książkę nawet tylko po to żeby przeczytać to jedno opowiadanie. Po prostu przepiękne.

i think “the shadow” might be my favorite short story of this collection yet. it was so impactful and its ending so abrupt. it led its reader to believe one thing, making it a core message and dismantled it all in the last page. magnificent 10/10 did NOT expect a story on racism and religion from plath to be this good

It baffles me to this day that England and other nearby countries have made no advances to build better infraestructure taking into account how many years in a row they have been having heatwaves. The way the characters reacted reminds me of Argentina "welp, that's a problem for future me ig'. But we're a poor country and England is supposed to be rich
Im gonna skip pt2 part for later, I wanna read pt 3 first

Last two stories of the first part.
Ocean 212-w had me in tears! I felt so represented in the kid who felt jealous and deserted just because he was having a brother. And the way Plath describes the moment a small child suddenly gains consciousness about their own being is marvelous. Reminded me of my own experience (I still remember it!)
Snow Blitz: it was funny to laugh at Londoniers the way they laugh at the world
