(1) Apart from being a killing machine, B. is also, apparently, an untapped human time capsule and Rosetta Stone.
(2) I assume that the whole point of finding out B.'s birthplace is to retrieve the helm his dad threw in the town pit.
- As we've all learned from the film "300," pits come in quite handy for kicking in enemies... or in this case, tossing godly trinkets.
