Note to self: if you listen to this book on 2.15 speed "Mortola" will sound like "Mortimer" and you will spend 300 pages being so confused as to why the author would give the main character's kind father and the villain's horrible mother the same name.

I’m halfway through and I still don’t know if I like this? I don’t think it’s just because I missed the boat on it either I’m just really confused by the story and the pacing. Someone tell me is it worth it to finish?

Slow but really good!
