So I guessed right but the author wants to create doubt—make you question if he is drugging/tricking her, etc. Nah, she did it. Since they brought in the Harbinger killer (the one she was supposedly investigating before her/Kallum’s crime), I may keep going in the series. Hopefully the philosophy is covered better than just shoved in to make “spooky.” 2.5 stars

To go with my darkness in her guess earlier, I’m thinking she is the one who actually committed his crime and he went to jail for her because of some dark obsession.
Regardless, this book is trying to be ethereal and intriguing, but the execution isn’t high enough to make it truly good.

I’m not listening super closely since I’m just listening to this in the background, but did they just mess around at a house party of strangers? Umm, she’s kinda a Fed agent (consultant) and he’s a convicted murderer (though incarcerated in an asylum). Why? I don’t care if he’s cute.
