I'm missing the story bc the author (whom I usually love) is not paying attention to the story herself. I might finish this book then give this series a rest. I'll come back I'm sure but my mind isn't liking the inconsistencies in the story.

I am enjoying the storytelling and characters, however they are in an older cabin in the middle of the wilderness in Russia or Ukraine? and it has marble counter tops? I get artistic license but setting the scene in my head then adding things that don't belong throws me out of the story. grrr...
