I think I'm going to DNF this book. Dammit, Victoria. I'm so glad I cancelled my preorder for Tempest. She always writes books with nothing happening for the first, like, 80% of the book before it gets good... I shouldn't have to suffer an almost 600-page bore for the series to get good.
