i’m not sure why i’m reading this actually. like the sex was not sexing!!

I enjoyed this book! It was short, action-packed, and sweet. I never thought much about Marjorie Dunn—she was a side character in Beau and Jane's story but I ended up really liking her. I didn't know she had such a sad past. Sam was a character who I didn't like at first but he slowly grew on me. He was an undercover agent who was trying to infiltrate Marjorie's life and learn her secrets but fell in love with her.

Marjorie is my favorite type of heroine. Sweet, kind, and just wants to live a peaceful life. Unfortunately, meeting Sam changed everything. My heart can’t help but break because of what she’s been through. All she ever wanted was a family. I hope Sam can give that to her. And then of course, there’s also the fact that he lied to her. I actually didn’t think much of Marjorie at first. I like that she surprised me
