I am really struggling with the over-bearing and over-protective nature of Griffin. I am also really struggling with Cat’s flippant attitude. While the first book captured a really fun dynamic, this second book is aggravating. I’ll keep updating as I read further, but the scene with the wizard in the north is just frustrating with how protective griffin is over cat. It’s very anti-feminist.
