Status Updates From Asian American Histories of...

An interesting case of chronology- per the index, starting with recent events and working backwards in time though I think it's also *thematic*, so the first is the 2020 #StopAsianHate but also how it connects to xenophobic perceptions linking Asians to disease throughout history like back to Angel Island days and earlier.

Read for book club at my neighborhood bookstore (Restoried in Albany Park). History books are usually very difficult for me to read but this was such a good and easy read. Loved the unchronological order of histories and how accessible this was for all ages.
