The book has gotten very intense and I really like it. Liona faked her death to dodge the seleni, who want to make her the queen of their city. To reverse the curse, that was put on her as a baby, she is learning to be a magician. "I was hoping for at least a week to learn the rest of the spells" (213). I was shocked when she said this because there was many spells left. I think she will get caught by the Seleni.
