this is what a graphic novel should represent; art in the shape of words; a rare masterpiece. it almost has this… ‘dark maturity’ feel to it. it’s intricate and pure and depressing and compelling and unique and ughhh, fuck… the level of artistry’s strong with this one. not only is it beautifully complex and well-written, but the art is out-of-this-world ETHEREAL as well. even my hollow heart feels heavy.
