30 pages in. DNF. The characters all seem to previously know eachother, so that connection just isn't there for me. Nothing wrong with the writing at all, it's great in fact! Book #4, I didn't know that going in. This was sitting on a Christmas featured table at my library. There was no indication it wasn't a stand alone.
