picking it back up after being frustrated into stagnancy by a book with disappointing prose & it is just what i needed because the writing here really is astounding, beautiful and poetic and meaningful yet so human and down to earth. feel like im reconnecting with a friend. also it helps that the plot is picking up bc i was getting a little impatient
