At first I was really hating this book. Dogen's Bendowa didn't make sense at all and felt like he was talking in circles and throwing a bunch of jargon out that made no sense. Uchiyama Roshi does an excellent job of clarifying this. His commentary grew on me the more I read, and the constant repetition of key concepts helped a lot in understanding.
