Did not finish for book club but this is sooo mid lmao. I could finish it in two hours and I’ll see if I can set that time at some point ngl because I kinda wanna check it off and review it even tho I don’t like it

Actually love this so far

I don’t know why but this is my second time trying to read this and I cannot get through it.

This is a fun audiobook

Fine writing and pacing. Just not fully gripping me. If I want to book of this style or time frame I’d prefer to just go for an Agatha Christie.

STEM find. This is fun and seasonal. I love books set in a university and just found the Goodreads STEM list! I want to read more books about women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. This includes me! So I'm biased.

So this is set in 1920s.
And the WW2 looms over them. I’m scared.

Mention of Alex’s dark curly hair (I forgot where it was in the book) reminds me of my friend’s hair and now I miss him so much.
