Reading this for book club and I hope it starts to pick up…pretty boring so far.

there’s SO much thst i need to read to educate myself because the world is a scary place rn, so why would i be wasting time on something that’s VERY MUCH is not my thing IN MULTIPLE WAYS?

мне НЕ интересны пираты. я не выношу YA истории. смысл? просто ради галочки какой-то? ради категории в челлендже чтения?

oh yeah i am expecting to dnf this 😀 but to be as fair as possible, im giving this 50 pages (aka 3 or 4 chapters) to decide (im afraid i already made up my mind and only ali h level of writing will change it but seeing as its nowhere near that……..)

im def uncomfy with YA characters drinking and having sex 😭😭😭 gah

the summary makes it sound like it’s a wlw story but i checked the tags and reviews and it’s not??? but like… such a weird description, why are the men (the love interests) are not even mentioned 😭

that is literally not what “insisting” is 💀 she’s asking my god?
this seems like another dnf 😅 which ill happily do because ya + pirates = not my cup of tea. im it even sure why im giving it a chance then?? but whatever sigh, ive already started. this book only has tmrw to convince me!!
