Enchanting. I didn't recall how charming the first book in this long running series was. I've read the print book, but now I'm reading it on audio. Susan Boyce has brought characters to life using her voice and the words of Joe Grey and his human companion Clyde Damon, Wilma. And her feline, the lovely Dulcie.

Well, that was weird. Then again, this whole book is strange. I don't know what to think. :/

Interesting premise, and I like the overall story so far. But the author has several storylines, and I'm not really enjoying the way she's working with them. Slow start, too. As I said, I like the concept and, hey, talking cats!, so I'll be finishing this one, hopefully today on the flight to Orlando.

I'm not finishing this, someone who is deliberately cruel to animals is not what I want to read or expect from what was described as a murder mystery.

Just started this , but already it has taken my heart. Narrated by a cat, Joe Grey, the voice is melodical and terse . A joy to read.

This is quirky and imaginative, unlike any ct cozy mystery I've ever read. Methinks mystery readers would either love this or hate this. No in between. I think I fit into the "I love it" category. What's more, there are 17 more books in the series. Yahoo!

Different. Very different. Unlike any other cat cozy mysteries. As much fantasy as mystery. I think I like it a lot.
