I won’t lie this is getting tedious especially with so many unlikable characters but I’m committed to seeing it thru cuz there isn’t even a murder yet?!

漸入佳境。開頭人名與人物關係過多，造成閱讀負擔和一時的混亂，但人物愈來愈鮮明，人物動機和表裡不一的「本音」暴露出來，事情的走向就愈來愈有趣了。甚至連「有趣」這個詞都無法表達對作者聰明、通透人事的讚美。很久沒有看到鋪墊得這麼詳細的殺人動機，殺意越來越重，而每一個角色沒有一個是多餘的，造成整件事的「暴雷」就是一個時間節點的問題。怎麼說？這是一部沒有「工具人」的推理小說，或者說，每一個「工具人」的存在都是具有重大意義的推理小說。作者的敘事一開始造成的閱讀困難也就不足為道了。因為讀者會從窺視人性中徹底沈迷上癮。

I thought this was a murder mystery but so far no murder?

It took me about 50 pages to really get into this, but now I’m hooked. The mixed media format is really working for me here. Also, I picked this up blind & thought it was “the appeal” as in appealing a verdict in legal proceedings. Turns out it’s the apparently UK meaning of a fundraising appeal.

This book is a hoot 🤣

La autora me tiene asombrada con esta forma de narración del libro, es que es increíblemente detallado y real. Estoy pensando que esta historia realmente sucedió en la vida real. Es muy loco. ¡Me encanta esté libro!

Should have had pg 296-7 at the beginning as an aide for ALL THESE PEOPLE! I’m having a hard time keeping names/people straight.

Siento que la forma en la que se desarrolla la historia, a través de los puntos de vista de cada personaje por medio de un mensaje, un correo o una carta hace que la intriga sea aún mayor. Me encanta!

Sigo en asombro por la forma en que la autora ha escrito este libro. Increíble que pueda seguir el hilo de la historia a través de mensajes de textos, cartas y correos electrónicos que intercambian tantos personajes.

Niesamowite, że w książce składającej się z samych maili i wiadomości można tak dobrze wykreować tak irytującą postać 😭🥹

Loving the way this book was written. It is the first time reading a book were the story is present through messages, letters and emails. It is crazy, but I do love the format, because it gives you the possibility to do your own investigation to find who was guilty.

Reading again to prep for the sequel yayyyy

OMG WHAT IS HAPPENING!? I love this book and can't put it down. The characters are all unique but I keep coming back to Issy, there's something unsettling about her
