The "tribe" doesn't pay taxes, doesn't send their kids to public school, and doesn't deal with law enforcement. They're creatures, they're violent, they steal women. Why does it read like the author learned everything about werewolves from Stephanie Meyer, but then made them more racist?
I'm not DNFing only because I guess they're "mountain men" not explicitly an indigenous tribe
