Really not sure what the author means for this book to be. It reads like a bound collection of trading cards with nice pictures on the front and short factoids on the back. Has a really Bakkerian style when rhapsodizing over large predators. It's certainly not a useful text at a post secondary level and is way too expensive for enthusiastic primary and secondary students
