This book was a struggle to get through tbh. I am not too fond of the writing style. At this point I am just ready to be done lol

Book is finally picking up!

Breaking my rule of reading/listening to a book that has a review average of less than 3.5 stars. Not so promising for this book.

This is crazy. Somewhat of a slow burn but also so much going on at the same time? Lots of characters and storylines to keep track of.

Great slow burn book! The transitions in the book are very confusing. It storyline keeps you guessing.

Hard to read for me because there aren’t really any chapters, it just goes on and on and on. No good spots to take breaks.

It’s off to a great start. I like how each section is a different POV. I paused reading so I could actually purchase this book because I can already tell it’s going to be great.

First thoughts.. I’m not sure I like the no chapters model. The switching back and forth between the 4 different perspectives was quite confusing at first.

The Horror genre is completely new to me. This month we decided to read this book together with the book club. The storyline starts slowly, but once it gets going it quickly becomes clear that all the characters have their own horrible secrets or personal problems. You are thrown in different directions. The question is: Who is telling the truth?

Listening to the audiobook is so confusing. They seem to switch pov with no warning so it's hard to realize the story has shifted right away. Hoping to finish today.

My coworker recommended this, so I excitedly grabbed it on Libby…and this is painful🫢 what do I even say to her when I see her next. “Oh did I read the book? Yah. It was terrible!”
