Status Updates From Broody Brit

Sticking with my plan of rereading my 4 and 5 star books until outside life settles down, you know, the whole tariff, becoming the 51st state thing settles down, it’s playing havoc with reading new books, I’m 65% done this book and loving it all over again.

This book is breaking my heart, one piece at a time. It’s melting any ice or hardness in my heart, one tiny bit at a time. In case you’re wondering, this is good, this is very, very good.

I have a few Naima Simone books but as yet TBR. Although early in, I’m going to have remedy THAT PDQ. This book is 🥵 spicy and all things I love in a book.

Not feeling this one.

Heroine taking her sweet time to catalog EVERY physical trait of her supposedly intruder. As in his wide, powerful, tattooed, NAKED chest, rock hard pecs, corrugated abs, low riding sweatpants on a slim pair of hips, killer cheekbones, perfect nose, 'the solid line of his jaw', artic blue eyes, brutal yet carnal lips. A VIKING! she says. LMAO
Girl doesn't know if she should be afraid or excited at the intrusion!
