Status Updates From Bel Canto

Goodreads doesn’t have Ann Patchett’s 2024 annotated edition of Bel Canto as an option to shelve, but I’m reading it after reading Bel Canto last week.

I’m 86 pages in and feeling enlightened by her insights. I can already say my second read of BC will be five stars if only for my gained appreciation for the epilogue.

(I *hated* the epilogue on my first read, but I GET IT now)
