Status Updates From The Swimmers

I’m having an existential crisis??!

It got me to swim again for what it’s worth!!

First two chapters dull, unengaging. I'm sat. I'm emotional. I'm grieving, afraid, and horrified. I understand why people like this book now, I've got whiplash. My heart is broken by a reality all too soon to face in it's many forms.

An interesting yet irritating prose, stream of thoughts meets indie movie narration style, with a glaringly obvious metaphor that you could almost find deep if it wasn't the entire crux of the narrative and again... Painfully obvious without nuance.
