Very interesting opening. This indigenous project has inspired geysers of contemplation.

The penultimate essay was the meh-est so far. It feels like it doesn't fit with the rest of the essays in this book.

Very interesting so far. Probably a little dense for the lay person who knows nothing of the Maya/Aztecs. Definitely enriching after reading Black Sun and Certain Dark Things, which draw a lot from their mythos and civilizations.
