Very disappointing. The boy is an unbelievably nice guy, particularly given his parentage and lifetime of trauma. Even worse, as soon as he pats the woman on the head and treats her with minimal human decency, she stops being an interesting, independent, intelligent character and becomes instead 100% invested in him. Boring. I expected better from this author, given her videos. She's smart and funny.

So the Archduke himself is a precious cinnamon roll? Love it. This is reminding me of all the things I like about my favorite enemies to lovers couple Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade, though a much more condensed timeline.
