Finished Ch. 5 and it's really interesting so far! I believe its setting is somewhere in Nusantara, so the world building of the kingdom which is Terang, is not that far from my imagination. There are roles like Sultan, Paderi, Diaken, Bendahara, Bendahari, Syahbandar which also familiar to me.

And now that there's a mention about the possible treachery and betrayal in Terang, I'm intrigued!

Whoa, so far just whoa, I love the story and I am so looking forward to see where it leads

I especially love how the characters developed in here, even though it’s from first pov of Putera Mikal but from his thoughts, other characters add up to their own layer of who they are

The world building too is also well explained throughout the book

Am loving every minute of reading this!

Interesting adaptation of Malaysian history as a fantasy setting.

I'm actually shaking while reading this. The amount of terror and trauma Putera Mikal had to go through...

So far, I'm loving every part of this book. The Malay elements in it is 💫 EVERYTHING 💫. I also love both Mikal and Yosua, but their situations are really complicated and my heart is hurting for both of them 💔
