Status Updates From Am I Beautiful?

it feels as if the author wrote the 1st gore scene with no real intention. genuinely felt like the lines between the fiction character and the author blurred, and the author just used this book as an excuse to write about torture porn. the writing is so bad. am i reading about a 7 year old or a 37 year old? i have no problem with gore in fiction- i picked this book up for a reason, but i was expecting real depth
