I didn’t see the ruthlessness in Alexei, he’s too sweet to her and romantic which I love but makes it hard to believe that he’s so feared. 4.5 stars

What I really like about this book is the pace at which events unfold. Not too long, not too short. I like how when she gets her memory back it doesn’t take long for Alexei to notice. I love how protective he is of her but I’m unfortunately very aware of how perfect he is and how a woman is behind this book. He makes more time for her as he runs the mafia than guys nowadays I can’t 😂
