Such an obviously American alien tale. Every “Earth” custom is very American or seen through American culture. Wedding traditions of “giving the bride away” and feeding each other cake, etc. Also, the informality of how the bride is met and given nicknames, etc? So American and white American at that. It’s a bit over the top.
