So the Mri aren't that innocent and they needed to be wiped out? Holy cow, that's dark! And just when I was hating on the humans? But the Regul didn't know, they just wanted to make sure the humans won't be able to hire the Mri as mercenaries. Duncan knew though. And he still saved the siblings?! Or is he using them to find out where the rest of the Mri are? 0_0

I am loving this way too much! C.J.Cherryh's aliens are the best!

WOW! Ok, it's definitely not "Foreigner" - much darker and depressing, but not in a bad way.
We have several different POVs, most belong to the aliens. Their POVs are filled with terms that don't always make sense to me yet. Therefore, I kind of wish the first book focused more on the human until we get an idea of the cultural differences.
Still enjoying it though!

30.5 hour audiobook, here I come!

I've tried many of C.J.Cherryh's books, but only "Foreigner" stayed with me. Maybe The Faded Sun will surprise me :)
