The author needs to stay in his lane 🙄

I don’t have nice words for how this author makes me feel. The intellectual disconnect between law experience and science/lab experience is very evident in the chapter “Failed Quality Control”

The chapter on bias in forensic analysis was the best one yet. The author did fantastic explaining bias and how it’s introduced, and how we can reduce bias. It’s the first chapter I haven’t had major criticisms of!

This has been such a great brain exercise. I can only get through about a chapter a day but it makes me think critically while I annotate and nerd out 🤓

I busted out a pencil and started making notes in the margins by page 7. I have strong thoughts already; this may be a bumpy ride
