I feel the urge to say something witty or prophetic, but genuinely, the only thing that’s coming to mind is “why?”

Small amount read tonight. I really like the writing style. It’s silly. It’s so very silly.

A quick read for dopamine. Feels quite silly so far. Putting myself in the shoes of a 14 year old boy (canonically, he’s like 18)

Carlton is held after class by his teacher talking about him drawing in his notebook, and wanting to unlock his mind or something like that, so he isn't stuck in a mental prison

This book follows Carlton Dunne, a comic book geek who seems to be shy, quiet, and artistic. So far, all I really know about Carlton is that he and his father have a shaky relationship and, although he loves his father, they don't always get along.

I have recently started reading Drawing a Blank by Daniel Ehrenhaft. This book follows Carlton Dunne, a comic book geek who seems to be shy, quiet, and artistic. So far, all I really know about Carlton is that he and his father have a shaky relationship and, although he loves his father, they don't always get along.
