AND HOW AM I 30 PAGES IN AND HE DID NOT SAY A SINGLE SENTENCE WITH ANY SUBSTANCE YET?! i learned more from the editor’s preface than 30 PAGES OF HIS WRITING!!!!

i cannot STAND his writing!!! it is dated, it’s cringe, it tries so hard to be cool and young (or “hip” as he writes) that it becomes unreadable. the dude cusses (literally) out hipsters like it’s 2014 again, and then switches to such pretentious vocabulary that even the jargonest of academic jargon cannot compare!!
