I feel a bit of a disconnect reading this. I feel the intense, all-encompassing grief and fear from Frost and those he loved and lost. But I also feel deeply disconnected from the queer community at large, which I think is what I wanted from this book. I think the immense wealth and privilege of Frost and just J is maybe making it harder to relate.
