The ending was so satisfying. Family, friends, survival and moving forward making decisions that seem right at the time but still can't hide you from this criminal world.

Very right now criminal America. Same as it ever was.

Fast paced story about a couple of men and the bad choices they made and how it affects their kids women and families and themselves.

A father is home from jail after a crime he didn't commit and getting to know his daughter the mother kept out of his life while he was locked up while the mom married a cop..... although a cop set up the girls father.... interesting so far.

I actually liked this book. Deals with single black females and the issues that comes with gender, skin color, and wealth.
