This book really is great. Popular introductions to men and women who tried successfully in different ways and to different degrees to work out social Catholicism in theory and in deeds. Quite inspiring so far.

Thomas P Neill has never disappointed. This book covers several or the thinkers and lay “activists” that exemplify intra Catholic debate of social questions today. What’s amazing to me is how Neill has something positive, at least so far, to say of everyone. He would surely be without a home today, considered too liberal or too close to integralism.
