The tablet actually cracks me up

I’m finding this very gripping and I definitely see shades (pun partly intended) of LINCOLN IN THE BARDO in that a cast of the dead keeps interjecting, but the violence, so far, is extreme. I’ve been feeling kind of down today and this doesn’t help. That people could commit brutalities with such coldness. This is a fiction book, but such people do exist. I want to believe people are ultimately good, but… 😕

I had to return this one while I'm listening to Eragon, I'll come back to it.
