Status Updates From The Blue Manuscript

Ooooh! Those other confusing stories were flashbacks. The novel has no context of time, so I was left wondering about new characters that were introduced then never mentioned again.

The author employs an omnipresent POV as well as jumping into the thoughts of all of the characters. For the first chapter or two, it was jarring and challenging to keep each person's thoughts and verbal dialogues separate. I have since grown accustomed to the structure. The author creates engrossing and sometimes magical descriptions of the central characters of the story. Very much enjoying this novel!
